I am a fresher ,passed my degree BHMS. I want to do MD in psychiatric, or to do gynea. obst. related courses. please advice me. I want to do these courses correspondence or please advise me something else which is better for me. My dream is to open a homoeopathic hospital
MD in Psychiatry and Gynae are available only at select universities which you will have to individually find out. Different universities have different time and criteria for admissions and different regulations and particular subjects. There is no correspondence for the same. By academic yr 2009-2010 Delhi homoeopathic college has started MD in medicine and pediatrics,what is the admission procedure for that course, If any entrance examination, in which months it will be held ?
The entrance test for the MD course in Delhi had been conducted for the first time and that got over in December 2008. Admission is through entrance test only. This normally will get advertised in leading newspapers whenever university plans to hold it next.
I have read in readers queries March 15th vol. 4 regarding Diploma in faculty of the homoeopathy, faculty of homoeopathy London courses are recognized in India. I will be thankful to you if you give me the full particulars of that college or institution which gives D.F.HOM, M.F.HOM, FF.HOM. How to apply to obtain that diploma? Kindly give me information.

Can you provide the list of MD Homeo colleges for external and internal MD n India and abroad?
You can find the list of colleges and universities for MD courses by visiting the site www.cchindia.com. You will be eligible for Internal Md. For External MD you either need to have 7 years of teaching experience or 10 years of clinical experience and these are available from Aurangabad, Allahabad,Ludhiana, Jaipur and these too are available till 1 year from now . After 2009 no External MD course will be available. For internal MD every college and university has different rules and regulation for admission and time of outlet of forms, which you will have to personally go and find out. Scope for homeopathy abroad is present in some countries as various countries do not recognize homeopathic medicine. I have just passed the final BHMS examination. What are the qualifications that I would need for getting admission in the M.D. Course of other universities?
Any student who has passed out BHMS qualification as per Central Council of Homeopathy syllabus having all the above mentioned subjects shall qualify in appearing M.D. courses offered by homoeopathic colleges which are available in seven subjects viz. Organon and Homeopathic Philosophy, Repertory, Materia Medica, Pharmacy, Psychiatry, Practice of Medicine and Pediatrics. The homoeopathic doctor is not entitled for M.D. courses in other systems of medicine like Allopathic, Ayurvedic etc. The details of M. I need some information regarding master degree in Homeopathy. one of my friend completed BHMS, now he wants to do master degree in homeopathy, I need advice for him so that he can go in right path. I am a homoeopathic consultant from Pune. I have been registered from M.C.H. in the year 1999 and again in the year 2001. I want to do P.G. course in homoeopathy. I have already gone through the C.C.H. list of P.G. colleges but I want to know about PG in subjects other than Materia Medica, Organon, Repertory. I want to do PG in other subjects like Medicine, Gynaecology, and Paediatrics. I want to know which colleges conduct PG courses in these subjects. Are PG courses available outside India? If yes, which country?
Post graduate courses are available in the subjects of medicine and pediatrics not in gynaecology. These are regular courses and are available in most of the PG colleges listed in the www.cchindia.com .For specific information you may contact these colleges. The PG courses being conducted outside India are not recognized in India except the M. F. (Hom).

It seems that you are very much interested in pursuing M. D. courses in the subjects of psychiatry, pediatrics, medicine and pharmacy. These courses are at present not available in any Government homoeopathic medical colleges to best of our information. Some of the colleges in Southern state might have started M.D. in these subjects. However M.D. (Hom) is available in the following colleges:
