Department of Homeopathy
INTRODUCTION-
Campaign programme on Homoeopathy for Mother and Child Health was launched in five distinct districts (West, North-west, East, North-east, South & Cental) of Delhi by Prof . Kiran Walia Hon’ble Minister of Health&FamilyWelfare, GNCTD succeded by one day orientation programme in all districts which was attended by physicians from all streams-allopathic, homoeopathic & ayurvedic with the core objective of reducing the communication gap among the physicians. The distinguished dignataries released 6 posters and 17 folders for the campaign in all the four languages of Delhi, namely Hindi ,English,Urdu & Punjabi. The Hon’ble Minister also provided ASHA kits to the ASHA workers from each district. This launch of campaign & orientatation programme was followed by extensive 3 days workshop exclusively for homoepathic physicians working in all sectors of Delhi –GNCTD, NGO’s & pvt sectors .These workshops were specially designed to achieve the objective of keeping the Homoeopathic physicians abreast of latest developments & research work being done in the field of mother & child care which will further help them in developing better clinical acumen in dealing with diagnosis, prognosis & complications of varied prenatal ,antenatal &post natal complaints of mothers & common paediatric disorders.
North-East District
The Campaign on ‘Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy child’ was inaugurated in North-east district by Ch.Mateen Ahmed, Hon’ble MLA, Seelampur and Ms Satya Sharma, Municipal Councillor on 16th February,2010 in the Conference Hall of Jag Parvesh Chander Hospital. Sh.J.P Singh, Principal Sec(H&FW) was the special guest.
District level training programme in North-east district was held from 17th to 19th February . The workshop was inaugurated by Sh Mohan Lal, (Director,ISM&H) and Dr. M.D Chauhan,M.S, Jag Parvesh Chander Hospital and was attended by 32 homoeopathic physicians(10 GDMO’s working with GNCTD, 1GDMO working with CGHS and 21 fromthe NGO’s/ Private sector).
North-West District
The Campaign on ‘Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy child’ was inaugurated by Prof. Kiran Walia, Hon’ble Health Minister,Delhi in the North West District on 24th November,2009 in Conference room of Baba Saheb Ambedkar hospital .Sh J.P.Singh, Principal Secretary (H&FW) welcomed all the guests and participants in the launch ceremony, which was presided over by Dr.A.K.Seth, Chief Homoeopathic Consultant, Sir Ganga Ram hospital.Sh.Jai Bhagwan Aggarwal, MLA and Sh.KulwantRana, MLA were the Guest of Honour.
This was followed by ‘District Level Training Programme’ from 25th to 27th November. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr.A.N.Aggarwal, D.M.S, BSA Hospital and was attended by 27 Homoeopathic physicians (13 GDMO’s working with GNCTD and 14 homoeopathic physicians from from the NGOs/ private sector).
West District
The Campaign on ‘Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy child’ was inaugurated by Prof. Kiran Walia, Hon’ble Health Minister, Delhi in the West District on 29th January,2010 in Seminar Hall, Ward Block of Guru Gobind Singh Hospital.Sh Mohan Lal, Director(ISM&H) welcomed all the guests and participants in the launch ceremony,which was presided over by Dr.V.K.Gupta,Former Principal,NHMC. Dr.Bijender Singh,MLA Nangloi Jat Constituency;ShPrithvi Singh Rathore, Municipal Councillor,Peerahi; Sh A.Dayanand Chandila, MLA, Rajouri Garden and Smt A.Meenakshi Chandila,Municipal Councillor Khyala were the Guests of Honour.
This was preceded by ‘District Level Training Programme’ from 25th to 28th January .The workshop was inaugurated by Sh Mohan Lal, Director(ISM&H) and Dr.Promila Gupta, MS,GGS Hospital and was attended by 34 Homoeopathic physicians (11 gdmo’s working with GNCTD, 2 working with homoeopathic institutions and 21 from the NGO’s/ Private sector).
East District
The Campaign on ‘Homoeopathy for Healthy Mother and Happy child’ was inaugurated by Prof. Kiran Walia, Hon’ble Health Minister, Delhi in the East District on 23rd February,2010 in the Conference Hall of Directorate of Health Services, Karkardooma. Sh Mohan Lal, Director (ISM&H) welcomed all the guests and participants in the launch ceremony,which was attended by Dr.Kanwar Sain, Mayor of Delhi ; Sh Naseeb Singh,MLA, Vishwas Nagar; Dr.S.Bhattacharjee, Director,DHS; Sh S.S Ghonkrokta, Deputy Commissioner (East) and esteemed speakers from all over the country. The key note address was given by Dr.A.K.Seth, Chief Homoeopathic consultant, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
District level training programme in East district was held from 24th to 26th February in the seminar room of Dr. Hedgevar Arogya Sansthan. The workshop was inaugurated by Sh Mohan Lal, (Director,ISM&H) and Dr. Shammi Bhasin, M.S, DHAS and was attended by 29 Homoeopathic physicians (10 gdmo’s working with GNCTD, 1 working with MCD and 18 from the NGO’s/ Private sector).
South & Cental District
District level training programme in South & Cental district was held from 4th to 6th February in the seminar room of Nehru Homoeopathic Medicalcollege & hospital .The workshop was inaugurated by Sh Mohan Lal, (Director,ISM&H) and Dr.Anil Kumari Malhotra, Principal NHMC&H and was attended by 36 Homoeopathic physicians (11 Gdmo’s working with GNCTD,2 GDMO’s from MCD, 2 GDMO’s from NDMC, 2 working with homoeopathic institutions and 19 from the NGO’s/ Private sector).
