What are the causes of acne and is there any treatment available in Homoeopathy?
All forms of pimples (acne) are due to an internal disorder. Thus the usage of external application does not yield permanent results. Internal homeopathic medication is often the best natural option to stop the recurrence of acne and that too without side-effects. Medically speaking too acne results out of an internal disorder. It is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones on the skin’s oil glands (sebaceous glands), which leads to plugged pores and the outbreak of lesions commonly called pimples or acne.
They usually occur on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. An important causative factor is an increase in hormones called androgens (male sex hormones). Psoriasis is considered to be inherited as autosomal dominant character with irregular penetrance. Exact cause of the disease is not known. Most useful constitutional drugs are Ars, Borax,Flr ac, Graphites, Silicea, Sulphur, natrum mur etc.

Vitiligo is an absolutely harmless disease except for its cosmetic implications. The spread of disease can be arrested and a substantial amount of the repigmentation of the lesions can be achieved by proper homeopathic treatment. Response to treatment is slow. Pigmentation of the lesions usually starts around hair follicles, thus the lesions in hairy area show early response. Repigmentation also starts at the margin of the lesions. The treatment should be continued till the maximum repigmentation is obtained.
